Travelling to Bathurst
Located on the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands Region of New South Wales, Bathurst is one of the Australia's fastest growing modern regional cities. It is home to the Wiradjuri people and is the site of Australia's oldest inland European settlement.
Regional Express (REX) operates 6 flights a day Monday to Friday to and from Sydney and weekend services. For more information: http://www.rex.com.au/
Bathurst is a 2.5 - 3 hour drive or 40 minute flight from Sydney.
Airport
Bathurst Regional Airport is located approx. 10.8 kms / 15 mins drive from the conference venue - Charles Sturt University (CSU).
Train
Countrylink offers daily trains to Bathurst from Sydney Central with selected stops on the way. Travel time is approximately 3.5 hours. CityRail has a daily return service (Outback Explorer) from Sydney to Bathurst. Both services stop at the Bathurst Railway Station located at the bottom of Keppel Street.

Bus / Coach
Australia Wide Coaches offers daily non-stop express services to and from Sydney. The coach originates in neighbouring Orange, and require passengers to pre-book their seats for collection in Bathurst. Travel time is approximately 3.5 hours.

The average temperatures in Spring (September to November) are Min 6.2°C and Max 20°C.
Conference Dress Code
During the conference program and networking dinner, smart casual dress is appropriate. The dress for the other evening functions is generally semi-formal.
